      If you would like to register for the upcoming CGISA October 2025 examination, please submit your completed application to the SACOB examination department by emailing exams@sacob.com no later than close of business, Friday, 29 August 2025.  
       
      If this will be your first time writing a CGISA exam, please ensure that you also attach the completed CGISA New Student Enquiry Form (attached herewith), along with all required supporting documents (e.g., a certified copy of your ID and your Matric certificate).
       
      To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to submit your registration as soon as possible.

      Students are provided with the live class link, schedule, past class recordings and class homework within the Online Classroom course.
      Within each subject's Online Classroom course is a section called the "Live Webinar Module", where all the live class information is found.

      How do Premium students find the Live Webinar Module?

      Your main responsibility will be to ensure that customer receipts and supplier payments are accurately captured and allocated daily, keeping the debtors and creditors ledgers up to date at all times.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Capture and allocate customer receipts and supplier payments daily.

      • Reconcile accounts to statements and resolve discrepancies.

      • Maintain accurate records of all customer and supplier transactions.

      • Support month-end close by ensuring ledgers are fully up to date.

      • Work closely with management and our accountant to ensure smooth daily operations.

      A well-established Property Management company in Pretoria East is looking to appoint a Company Secretary with strong Property Portfolio Management experience. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in fulfilling statutory Company Secretarial duties in line with CIPC regulations, CSOS, and the Companies Act, while also managing the governance and administration of Sectional Title Schemes and Homeowners’ Associations.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Act as Company Secretary in accordance with CIPC requirements (statutory record-keeping, director changes, compliance filings, maintaining registers).
      • Provide guidance on governance, fiduciary duties, the Companies Act, CSOS, and STSMA compliance.
      • Prepare and distribute meeting notices, compile agendas and minutes.
      • Attend and manage trustee/director meetings and AGMs (some after hours).

      • Oversee budgets, levy schedules, and statutory compliance for each scheme/HOA.
      • Approve and monitor payments, contracts, and financial management matters.

      ✅ Minimum Requirements:

      • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (Speak, Read, Write).
      • Matric / Grade 12 (Property-related qualification advantageous).
      • Formal training in property law or governance (e.g., Paddocks STSMA/HOA courses) advantageous.
      • Minimum 3 years’ senior experience as a Company Secretary and/or Property Portfolio Manager.
      • Proven knowledge of CIPC requirements, Company Secretarial duties, and statutory compliance.

      Job Purpose:

      To maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of the different organisations and individuals entrusted to you, process financial transactions, and support the finance function with timely reporting. The role requires practical bookkeeping experience and proficiency in Xero and Quickbooks accounting software.


      Key Responsibilities

      1. Daily Bookkeeping Tasks
        • Maintain bank account processing for multiple clients
        • Bank reconciliations on Xero and Quickbooks.
      2. Financial Records & Reporting
        • Prepare monthly management accounts for selected clients.
        • Assist in producing financial statements for review by the accountant.
        • Generate ad hoc reports as required.
      3. Compliance & Documentation
        • Ensure VAT, PAYE, and other statutory requirements are accurately recorded.
        • Maintain supporting documentation for all financial transactions.
        • Prepare and submit mandatory SARS submissions timeously.

      Key Competencies & Skills

      • Strong working knowledge of Xero Accounting Software (essential).
      • Strong working knowledge of Quickbooks Accounting Software (an advantage)
